How did we start Hi Team Training?
It's a story about the passion for love and fitness. Michael and Grace first jointed their path at the Boston University Fitness&Recreation Center. Michael loves weight-lifting, while Grace loves swimming.
It didn't take long before the two fell in love and started working out together. Given Michael's extensive knowledge of fitness, it was natural for him to become the fitness trainer of the two. However, soon, the training program went into a bottleneck. Although Michael had years of training experiences, they were all limited to young males.
Love conquers all, and it sure did. Despite being a full-time student and having a part-time job at the hospital, Michael managed to go through the NSCA certification just so that he can train Grace better.
After three years of training with Michael, Grace transformed from a 90 lb skinny girl who can't do even one half-push-up to a powerful, toned woman and can do single-leg-squats and TRX pikes. Moreover, now, she also loves boxing!
Inspired and motivated by their experiences, the young fitness couple now opens up their own fitness shop to help more people like Grace through body transformation, and more importantly, to experience the self-empowerment.
# 1 Programs Keep Updating
Through years of learning, practicing and numerous trails and errors, we've figured out an effective system of training that is safe, effective and fun.
We don't stop there, in fact, we keep revisiting and revising our existing training approaches and workout programs with the latest discoveries in the fitness industry. We do the search and filter, so you don't have to.
# 2 Every Member Counts
We care about every member, whether it's a private session or group class. Our goal is to make sure everyone find what he/she is looking for and get the most out of it.
We encourage members to book before the class not only to ensure a spot but also give us time to make the necessary adjustments that best accommodate the attending members' needs.
At the beginning of every class, we will also do a quick survey of injuries or pains at the beginning of each class and fine-tune exercises for individuals with special requests.
We may not be as exhaust and detail as a private session, but it doesn't mean we won't try.
# 3 You Can't Beat the Convenience
We know you have already a lot going on between life and work, so we try our best to make it as convenient as possible for you.
We have class on each day of a week. We alternate class types between cardio, strength and conditioning every other day, so the body focus is well-balanced. We also provide the necessary equipment, including wraps, pads, and gloves. In short, all you need to do is show up, and let us take care of the rest.
And one last thing to mention, Location, Location, Location. We are at the heart of Newton Center MA, right by the MBTA Green line D-line Newton Centre Station (less than 50 feet)!
